Tom Crawford is the owner of Liberty Roofing of Central Florida and an Orlando native. Coming from a large family with three brothers and three sisters he learned to work hard from his dad who was a block mason in the Central Florida area for five decades. He has fond memories of himself and his brother going to work with his dad carrying blocks, making mud (mortar}, and setting up scaffolding. He remembers in those days, that is just the way it was, you did your part to help the family and the payment for their labor was food on the table each night. Growing up this way with his dad as his teacher taught Tom that hard work was a good thing and that accomplishing a good job brought great satisfaction.

After high school Tom decided to join the United States Marine Corps. These years helped to build on his character and to give him the determination to never give up and no matter what you “finish the course”. After four years of service and obtaining the rank of Sergeant, Tom left the Marine Corps to begin the important task of raising a family.

Tom went back in what he knew best, the construction industry. This led him to expand his knowledge of construction and to learn the roofing trade. During many years of roofing, he has worked on all types of roofs which includes shingle roofs, metal roofs, tile roofs, roll roofing, and TPO membrane roofs. Tom, being a self-motivator, decided to set a goal of opening his own business where homeowners and business owners alike could rely on a reputable company to meet their roofing needs. Where prospective customers can deal with honest professional people trained and experienced in installing roofs.

Finally, with Charles his son beside him, Tom established family-owned Liberty Roofing of Central Florida. Complying with all state requirements, Liberty Roofing of Central Florida is a licensed State Roofing Contractor and a bonded company, carrying necessary Liability Insurance as well as having all employees fully covered under Worker’s Compensation Insurance which protects all customers from any liability.
