So grateful I decided to go with Winter Springs Roofing because they made the experience of purchasing a new roof uncomplicated. What I especially appreciated was the owner of the company was constantly involved. Even the crew was very organized and completed the job efficiently and on time. Dealing with the owner Mr. Sumner on replacing our leaking roof was a pleasure. He thoughtfully explained what would be done, the materials to be used, and even gave help in securing an insurance settlement – before we had signed with him. His crew came on time, did the work quickly and professionally in the time stated, and left the site absolutely spotless each day. Plant beds surrounding our entire home were covered with tarps to catch debris, and a magnet cleared any metal items. They also took time to solve pesky problems they inherited; protecting security cameras, and sealing a super gutter where it penetrated our lanai in order to stop leaves and pests from entering. I’m very pleased with the final product and thought it was done at a fair price. I would recommend them without reservation.

In 2016 we had a roof leak due to solar panels and contacted Winter Springs Roofing and Repair based on a referral from a friend. We met the owner, Bill and he and his team did an excellent job repairing our roof. We were amazed at how they were able to match the shingles so closely. Fast forward to May 21, 2020 when the hailstorm came through Seminole County and left a trail of damage to homes in our neighborhood. In less than 24 hours after the storm, there were salespeople all over our neighborhood giving estimates and talking to homeowners trying to let them do the repairs. We told them all to keep moving because we have a roofer. We immediately contacted Bill to request an estimate of the damage done to our roof from the hail. Bill wasted no time coming by to speak with us and looking at the roof. Since this was an insurance claim, Bill worked with us as we navigated through that process as well as the HOA approval. Bill and his crew performed the work quickly and professionally. We are extremely satisfied with the job they did and would highly recommend them to anyone with roofing needs.

I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He was very confident & very good at doing it. Our re-roof work was completed in a great manner. The workers were respectful & friendly. Everyday they cleaned up after themselves & left the property in a manner that I was very happy with as I did not have to pick up after them. Bill had an excellent way of keeping communication open. We recently had our roof replaced by Winter Springs Roofing. I was impressed when Bill, the owner and an actual roofer, came out for the estimate. Other roofing companies just sent an “estimator.” Bill was professional and took time to explain everything in great detail. During the roofing job itself, the workers arrived on time every day. They arrived in clean company trucks, they were all pleasant, neat, and professional. Each day they cleaned up the job site of debris. The roof was completed on time and to our satisfaction.

Bill was really on top of our job from start to finish. He worked with us on every aspect of the job and any rough spots were quickly addressed. We had a few special circumstances (removal of solar hot water heater panel) which he also helped us secure at a very good price with an outside contractor. His crew was great – fast and did a great job with clean up. Honestly, if we hadn’t been home I’m not sure that we could ever have known they were there if not for the new roof. WOW! What a great experience. As a business owner myself, the one thing I cannot stand is a lack of professionalism for a craft. In fact, the job I was having done was a fixing of another roofer that botched the job. I pay well and expect well, but Bill and his crew followed the Disney model of “Exceed expectations” and they did that in big way! I had a tough job for them totally removing a Large Rock Exterior Chimney that had been there for 40 years and was hard as a rock. It was going to have to be totally rebuilt and go with the current exterior. We scheduled it two weeks out to give my wife time to relocate her plants. He arrived on the exact day and exact time, got right to work with a crew of five. The entire crew was sharp, professional and knew EXACTLY what to do. The job took 2 and 1/2 days. No hidden charges, exactly as he quoted (and the guys even ran into a raccoons nest tearing down the Chimney). I wish I could say more, but as soon as they arrived you knew you were dealing with professionals. The 4 trucks were immaculate, their equipment was top notch, the organization of the crew was fantastic. This was not a company I was going to have to check on all day long. I went with the low bidder the first time and had problems from the beginning. This time, I went with the reviews that people had posted. Fantastic!

After some horrible weather on October 7th in which a waterfall started to pour down from an exhaust vent inside the restroom, I knew that there was something wrong up on the roof that had to be looked at. I did some research and came across Winter Springs Roofing and Repair, in which I spoke to Bill about the problem at hand and since I was so concerned about it he was able to make it out the next day to take a look at it! After looking it over and diagnosing the issue at hand along with others that were observed, it was then a plan to get it replaced instead of repaired which made total sense when everything was taken into account. He gave me a lot of helpful paperwork about everything with the contract so everything could be understood fully, including all the options to choose from. Along with all of that, I had my home-owners insurance already involved from the claim about the horrible leak and they sent out adjusters to observe it and came up with a cheap solution and took nothing else about the roof into account (hail damage, a lot of wear and tear, animal damage, unsealed/broken down vents, etc) and after sticking through all the re-evaluations and all the tricks my insurance company tried to get away with and proving that there were real issues at hand we were able to get it fully covered and replaced! This took about a month and a half total and even through all that Bill and I stayed in touched and he helped me tremendously when it came to the claim, which I will be forever grateful for as I never would have had the courage to do it alone. Then after an overview of color choices and everything else it was time to set up an install date in which he was able to get the permits quick and had an opening from a reschedule and I took it! Let me just begin to say that his crew is extraordinary! They went out of their way when it came to preparations to ensure that the whole yard was covered in tarp to ensure that nothing was left (which there was not) so that my dogs or anyone else never had a chance to get hurt, which I really appreciate. Additionally, they also covered the driveway to keep it safe from any scratching too! They did an excellent job on the first day of ripping up the old roof, making the necessary repairs that I am sure others would overlook and was able to get the high quality synthetic underlayment on and shingles delivered as well! They didn’t skimp out on anything when it came to the installation hardware and workmanship, just the new heavy duty metal valley along with all the new heavy duty metal vents look gorgeous and will serve a very beneficial purpose not only against the rain water but the squirrels as well. On top of that before they left, they cleaned up, wrapped up the tarps and cleaned up everything as well so the whole night was it was as if there was no roofing job being done. The next morning they had it inspected by the city in which it passed and then put out all the tarps again and went to putting on the new shingles and ridge vents! Throughout the second day the whole crew was once again amazing and was able to complete the job and clean up fully as well once again. After all that, I went outside and was and still am in awe of how magnificent the roof looks. I know already that I will have some very jealous neighbors to say the least. If you want someone who is a expert at roofing in which his history shows, has high quality standards, is helpful in all ways possible, only uses exceptional roofing materials, a top notch Ram fleet which handles everything and he has his own personal (not-outsourced), excellent, dedicated, passionate, friendly, personable and skillful team that believes along with Bill that getting it done right the first time around is the way to go and that shortcuts are a no-no, then consider your search over, you have found the Holy Grail when it comes to roofing.

He came out to the house and gave me the quote, told me the timeline, and then did exactly what they said they were going to do. No high pressure sales. The owner himself came out and left me an estimate. No hidden fees. No upcharges. Signed a few papers, gave the deposit, and a few days later they started installation. High quality materials and a perfect installation. Will definitely recommend to neighbors and friends.

Extremely professional from estimate to permit approval. I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and the customer service that Winter Springs Roofing provided was better than all. The main things were that they were there each day at 7:00 sharp and went right to work. Their equipment was in tip top shape. They were fast courteous and kept the site clean when they had to leave at the end of the day.

Bill and his team are amazing! He repaired our flat top patio roof so that it no longer leaks. They spread a commercial grade product that hardened to a strong shell on the roof of it. In addition he capped off all the rotted fascia and soffit with white aluminum so that it will look great for the years to come. Because the roof was not properly installed, our project required his team to remove and replace the shingles surrounding the patio roof after he installed a wide flashing around the roof to prevent leaks. He matched our shingles perfectly and the roof is beautiful. They did extra trimming for us and invented a metal cap that surrounded the ceiling part of the patio to renew the look of the ceiling. The attached photo shows this trim. We are very happy with the result. His team was on time and very, very knowledgeable about roofing problems and how to repair them. They were always on time, polite and easy to have around. We feel very fortunate that we were able to find him and that his seasoned crew were the men who did our work.
