We had a numerous roof leaks fixed by numerous other roofing companies. The underlying problem was poor design and construction of the original roof. Tired of "chasing leaks" for several years with at least 5 different roofers, we contacted Schick about a roof replacement (as well as getting proposals from others as well). We had seen their work throughout our neighborhood. Paul Schick came out and inspected the roof and we felt IMMEDIATE confidence in him. He identified all the areas where we had previous leaks (without being told where they had been) and predicted the next spot it would occur. He was 100% correct, and we decided to have the whole roof replaced rather than continue to fix problems only to have them crop up elsewhere. The crews were exceptional -- really turning out with a good 15+ people to tackle removing the old roof, making repairs, and putting the new underlayment on. They moved steadily through the project without much delay (unlike other replacements we had observed). Everyone on-site was professional and they kept us informed at every step -- even sending photos via email of what they were doing. Schick only uses its employees that they thorough train and not a bunch of random subcontractors like some companies. We could reach Paul and his leads via email, phone, text, and they were so responsive! Paul identified an architectural "flaw" that the original housing inspector told us to "watch". Paul came up with a solution to re-route water to reduce this problem in initial construction. He and his leads were here overseeing everything. They had a portable potty for the crew and kept the work site neat and safe. It was a truly professional job. Highly recommend Schick!!!
